November 2022
Being In The Flow: Creating Alignment with Stakeholders
Driving cultural change requires many efforts from many parts of an organisation and ERGs/Networks that actively work with the business to ensure their plans are aligned find they are viewed by the business as a critical friend and positive agent for change. In particular, the impact created when disability ERGs/Networks, Diversity & Inclusion Teams and the Executive Sponsors work together in synergy has earned them the nickname of the ‘Magic Trio’.
In November we shine a light on how ERGs/Networks can ‘get in the flow’ through our supportive resources and opportunities for peer engagement (listed below) which will:
- explore how to build relationships with stakeholders;
- offer tips on how to take forward a joined-up strategy; and
- highlight the pivotal role that an ERG/Network fulfils in helping an organisation to learn directly from its own people.
November learning & development opportunities
Connect with your peers at one of this month’s peer group learning sessions – these small, interactive one-hour sessions for ERG/Network leaders and those working towards disability inclusion are a great way to share good practice, swap ideas, share challenges and opportunities and build your leadership capabilities.
We have four sessions to choose from:
Positively impacting people’s lives and accelerating cultural change are among the core purposes of a high-performing ERG/Network and our Working Group meeting this month provides a unique platform for ERG/Network leaders to discuss and feed directly into our work in these areas.
PurpleSpace’s Impact Steering Group, our strategic Working Group assisting us in setting the standards by which we create collateral and resources that describe the true value of disability ERGs/Networks and the impact they can have both within an organisation and beyond, will meet on Wednesday, 2nd November. If you are interested in finding out more about our Working Groups, please do get in touch via hello@purplespace.org.
